Hello! I'm subletting the second bedroom in my sun-drenched, peaceful 2-bedroom, 1-bathroom apartment in Ditmas Park. I've lived here for 2.5 years and have made it my cozy sanctuary. The available room is *unfurnished*. You would be living with me (26, she/her, nonprofit admin) and my two cats (they are very mellow with the occasional zoomies). I have a hybrid work schedule, but will primarily be in the office five days a week for the summer.

**Room/Apartment**
- fully-stocked renovated kitchen and bathroom with dishwasher, stainless steel appliances, marble shower & deep tub
- shared living room and dining area with tv
- available bedroom is spacious with a decent-sized closet, high ceilings, and huge window! I used to live in this room and fit a full-size bed, nightstand, desk, bookshelf, and small tv stand. This room faces the inner courtyard of the building so it's quiet! I also have a spare A/C you're welcome to use
- my apartment is on the fourth floor with no elevator if that's important for you to consider
- shared utilities are internet, electricity, and gas
- no smoking of any kind in the apartment

**Neighborhood**
- less than five minute walk to the B/Q trains (also within longer walking distance to the F train and 2/5 trains, both 15-20 mins walk)
- no laundry in building, but a 5-min walk to a clean 24-hour laundromat
- peaceful 10-minute walk to cute cafes, bars, restaurants, and food coop on Cortelyou Rd.
- grocery store less than 5-minute walk from apt
- 10-minute subway ride to Prospect Park
- 30 minutes to Manhattan

**About You**
I'm very open! I just require that you have basic roommate etiquette: considerate of the space, clean up after yourself, keep the common spaces clean, be communicative, and be respectful and kind.

About This Lister

I'm 26 and originally from KY. I moved to NY for college eight years ago and never left! I work as an admin at a nonprofit for high school students.

I'm typically a homebody and enjoy chilling at home - watching movies/tv, cooking, making bevs, listening to r&b, going for walks, resting. I go out with friends more in the summer and enjoy trying new restaurants, going to the beach, going out for drinks, or just general dilly dallying out and about. I don't have friends over at the apt too often, but don't mind if my roommate does.

I like to keep the apartment clean and tidy. I also understand that some weeks are much busier/rougher than others, so I give myself and my roommate grace during those times. I think open communication is the best policy and having a shared plan of action for shared chores works best for me.
