Enjoy this colorful home on a peaceful street in New Orleans while I travel in April! The space is a five minute walk from Bayou St. John, City Park, and Streetcar lines, with access to Cafe Du Monde, the Besthoff Sculpture Garden, New Orleans Museum of Art, and other outdoor activities.
Conveniently there are two really good cafes within a five minute walk, grocery and convenience stores, and even a neighborhood bar with late night snacks just a block away.
The street is directly tied to the Lafitte Greenway: a pedestrian trail that cuts through Mid-City straight to the French Quarter. On a beautiful day, a bike ride down Esplanade Ave or the Greenway to the French Quarter takes about 20 minutes. If a night watching the sunset over the water is more your thing, you can get to the lakefront within 10 minutes by car or 20 by bike.
All in all, this Mid-City shotgun home is about a 10 minute drive to most locations in the Greater New Orleans area!
