Looking for someone to enjoy and look after this beautiful 1-bedroom home while I’m traveling. It’s fully furnished, meticulously clean, and in one of the best trendy neighborhoods in Los Angeles - Silverlake. Only a 3 minute drive / Uber to Los Feliz and Griffith Park. The apartment only shares one wall with another bungalow (very quiet neighbor), so it feels like a standalone home. The area is very quiet, and very walkable to grocery stores (Trader Joes & Gelson’s, 4min drive to Whole Foods and Erewhon), pilates/yoga studios, gyms, the best coffee shops, Sunset Junction, shops, bars, and restaurants. If you want a relaxing walk or are a runner, the Silverlake Reservoir is a 2 min drive or 10 min walk through the beautiful neighborhood. Basically, this is one of the best areas if you don’t have a car - there is a short walk to anything you want and need. A very close 15-20 minute drive / Uber to Downtown and Hollywood areas. Also, only 20 minutes to Burbank Airport - a BIG treat to skip the stress of LAX if you are flying in or out.

Accessibility: Please note that this bungalow apartment sits up off the street level on a bit of a hill, which means steps, and unfortunately not wheelchair accessible. At the front entrance, there is a flight of steps to the gate, and a few steps on the front porch. The back entrance is more of a ramp path, with a total of 3 small steps.

I'm a clean-freak professional female who likes for my space to be a cozy, peaceful retreat. As a former New Yorker, I love my place in Silverlake because it gets tons of sunlight and sits on a hill above street level, giving the feeling you are up in the trees. It also offers SO much within walking distance - the best coffee shops, delicious restaurants, grocery stores, fitness classes, trendy late-night spots, you name it...while still feeling like you are in a quiet, beautiful neighborhood. Though this space is my home, it isn’t specifically personalized, allowing you to feel like it’s your own. I'm looking for a subletter while I travel to offset some costs and not have the place sit empty, and water the plants.
