Hi there! I’m subletting my sunny and spacious 2bedroom apartment (1 bd is my office/craft room) while I’m out of town. It’s on the border of Prospect Heights and Crown Heights, great for working from home.
Dates:
April 17-May 17 (end date flexible date), prorated price offered, preference for someone to stay most of that time.
Details:
-Bedroom 1: Queen bed, fire escape, blackout and sheer curtains and super sunny. Bedroom is located in the back of the building so no street noise, but you can hear some train sound so not the best for super light sleepers. No one's ever complained about not being able to sleep, but I provide earplugs and have a fan/white noise as an option just in case.
- Bedroom 2: Office, large desk space, super sunny, 27” computer monitor, wifi, printer, sewing machine, cutting board and art supplies.
-Living room/dining area: 50” Samsung television, Nintendo Switch dock, darker during the day and Philips Hue lights that can change colors.
- Separate kitchen: dishwasher, a high speed blender, Instant pot, moka espresso pot, toaster oven and sink hook up washing machine.
-Bathroom: renovated, bidet, full sized tub, good water pressure.
-Second floor walk-up in a 16-unit building with bike storage.
The Location:
It’s on Prospect Place, right off of Franklin Ave where there are a ton of bars, restaurants and shops. Mr. Kale bodega is open 24/7.
S train is on my block less than a minute away, then there's a 8 minute walk to the 2/3/4/5 train and a 8 minute walk from the C train.
It is a 15-20 minute walk to The Brooklyn Museum, Botanical Garden and Prospect Park and only a 25 minute express train ride to Manhattan.
I’m a freelance designer and textile artist in my mid 30s. I've been a Prospect Heights/Crown Heights resident for the past 12 years. I'm friends with neighbors and a part of the community garden nearby. I'm looking for people to care for the apartment and water my plants. Sorry no parties, smoking or pets.
$100/day (includes all utilities). $350 deposit and signed agreement required.
