We are a family moving to Europe and looking for renters to take over our beautiful home for at least a year. With miles of scenic walking trails just a few steps from our door, the house sits on 3.5 acres and is beautifully located in the picturesque town of Rosendale, a short walk from the town's iconic trestle bridge and its historic main street.
The house has 4 bedrooms, 1 bathroom, a large and light-filled living space with a woodstove. The kitchen and dining space are equally light-filled and look out on a rocky ridge that leads into the Mohonk Preserve. The foliage around the house keeps the interior lovely and cool in the summer, and the southwest facing windows keep the place bright in winter.
You can walk into Rosendale main street in 6 or 7 minutes, while the Wallkill Valley rail trail is 50 yards from our door. The house is situated perfectly between Kingston and New Paltz, a 10 minute ride from each. It is a 7- minute ride from the local food co-op, a natural water spring, two minutes from the grocery store, with many more scenic spots in the Hudson Valley a short drive away.

We are a family of three. Husband, wife and daughter. I am a painter/artist and my husband is a writer/ journalist.
Our daughter goes to the local Waldorf school.
We lived in NYC for 12 years before moving upstate and finding to perfect spot in Rosendale. We moved up here 8 years ago and absolutely love it. And- as we are both from Europe and feel that we all are in the right moment for a big transition, we are taking the leap to go live there and feel it out.
