This is a beautiful, flexible 650 sq ft space (44' long x 14'-13' width) with great daylight with Southern exposure, that can be set up for photo shoots, art shows, pop-ups, dinner parties, events, or meetings. We are conveniently located right next to the DUMBO/Sands St entrance into the historic Brooklyn Navy Yard (just across from Wegman's).

The space has been built out from our larger space in a stunning, brand new 24/7 access building, with 13' ceilings, a wall of southern-facing windows with incredible light and sweeping views of downtown Brooklyn, and beautiful smooth polished concrete floors. When facing the windows, the 13' floor-to-ceiling wall on the right of the space has a gorgeous cement section that is a perfect set-up for a photo backdrop and a white sheet-rocked corner. The 11' tall wall on the opposite wall has an opening for the changing room, but it does not reach all the way up to the ceiling, so it is an "open-top" space and therefore not soundproofed. The space is 44' long from the white wall corner to the windows, and 14' wide in the section that is opposite the white wall section, and 13' wide in the section that is opposite the cement wall section (please see photos for floor plan). There are 3 loading docks, 2 enormous freight elevators that run from 5am-8pm Monday-Friday, and 2 passenger elevators that run 24-7. On weekends there is a 4-hour minimum, no exceptions.

In addition to the dressing room, tables, and chairs, we have a double wardrobe rack, white seamless, sandbags, an apple box, make-up mirror, steamer, 3 lighting umbrellas (2 white, one reflective gold), a backdrop stand, and 3 fabric backdrops in white, black and green. Since we are a specialized prop house, we also offer our artwork and props for use at deeply discounted rates.

Please note that there is a security camera with microphone that only surveils the common front door, but not the rented space.
