I’m subletting my peaceful one-bedroom apartment in the 11th arrondissement, between the bustling area of Rue de Charonne & et Rue de la Roquette. The neighborhood is one of my favorite in Paris and in easy walking or metro distance to the Marais, Bastille, and Canal St. Martin. The apartment is a rare mix of calm and convenience—located in a lively neighborhood but fully outfitted with everything you'll need for your stay.

Set on a side street on the ground floor, but over two levels (ground and basement floors) the apartment stays naturally cool all day—and, a rare perk in Paris summers, there is AC! It's an ideal home base for anyone who wants to enjoy the city and return to a serene refuge.

Due to the height of the stairs into the bedroom, this apartment is not a good match for someone with mobility issues.

This is my knitwear studio and home so I really would love to share it with someone who will treat my home and workspace with the utmost respect. No smoking.

Available:

- May 3rd - June 14th (6 weeks)
- June 26th - August 28th (9 weeks)
- Preference for stays of 2 weeks or longer.

Rates:

- $800 per week

- $2,800 for a 4-week stay (discounted monthly rate).
A refundable security deposit is required to rent the apartment (to be returned after departure upon satisfactory walk through of lessor through apt).

- Vélib (bike share) hub at the corner


- Several bus stops within 1–2 minutes


- Easy biking distance to the Marais, the Seine, and more
