The current rent is $5100 / month, I'm offering it at $4400 / month if you take the full remaining term, which makes it below current market price - there is some price flexibility based on your timeline. I am going through some life changes so will unfortunately need to sublease or let go of this beautiful apartment that I have happily lived in for over a year. It's an apartment designed and perfect for two people or a family, with plenty of room to have home office, large terrace and host guests to stay overnight. It's 30-35min easy subway to the office. The views from all the rooms and the terrace are the best I have ever had in my 10+ years in nyc.

Time: Sublease available 02/15 - 05/03, you can start earlier if you want, prefer the entire time, open to a monthly sublease or shorter. You can take over the lease and renew from 05/03.

The Unit:
Large 1B1B - it was shared by 2 people with ease to host guests + separate working space. We host our families frequently and put a guest bed in the living room (you can see in the video). There is also space for two standing desks (1 living room, 1 bedroom) per the current set-up.
25th floor South-facing floor to ceiling windows & large 240sf terrace - views to South BK, Statue of Liberty, amazing sunsets.
Generous storage space with 3 closets: 2 in the living room, 1 in the bedroom, we installed another container store wall storage and hanging system ($3K of value, happy to leave it for you)

The Building + Neighborhood:
High Rise Luxury building with doorman, full gym,dance studio, two different sky terraces, separate bike storage available.
Last high rise on the block with unobstructed south BK view: It is the last high-rise building in the Prospect Height / DTBK area, therefore you get unobstructed brownstone / south brooklyn views and much more quiet than its other DT brooklyn neighbors.
11 subway lines: 2, 3, 4, 5, B, D, N, Q, R, C, G are walkable (Atlantic / Barclay Center is 5 min walk, Fulton stop is 10 min, Bergen stop is 2 min). My commute to the 111 8th office used to be 30-35 min.
Prospect Park nearby: 10 min walk to Grand Army Plaza - I used to run in the Park every other day.
Groceries: Wholefoods, Midoriya Japanese grocery, DNY Natural Korean store, Flatbush Market, Stop and Shop - all within 10 min walk.
Close to Park Slope, Fort Greene, Downtown Brooklyn, Clinton Hill - I loved walking to many of these nearby neighborhoods with charming brownstones and lots of cute specialty stores / restaurants on 4th Ave, 5th Ave.

About This Lister

I am a business strategist / designer working in tech, and I am in my mid 30s. I am trained as an architect originally so I take great care of my space. I love plants, sauna, sun bathing, painting, cooking - that is why I prioritized having a southern exposure with great views, sunny open kitchen and a great terrace when picking for this apartment. I'm renting this at a big discount because I am going through some life changes and will unfortunately need to sublease this or let the apartment go if you want to take over the lease.
