Must be Cat Friendly as I have three gentle, well-behaved cats: two sisters, Mila and Sophie (both 13 years old), and Leo (approximately 8 years old). They’re old, so they spend most of their time resting (primarily in my bedroom).
I am very mindful of cleanliness, so I try to ensure the apartment remains free of litter, food, or general pet odors.
Roommate ME / leaseholder :
Low key, young spirited, “Gen X” New Yorker (male). Former fashion editor and now Gallery Advisor for an Architect & Interior Design Firm. My days of “painting the town red” or “bringing the party home” have long past. When I’m not working in Tribeca 5 days a week (Tues-Sat), I try to spend most of my free time outdoors either at the beach, gym or on long runs. I enjoy the occasional museum visit, hike or movie mixed in.
I enjoy cooking, though lately it’s less about culinary passion and more about simply nourishing myself
All told, I work, look after my children (the cats) as well as an elderly parent in the neighborhood.
Drama free, so I expect no drama
BayRidge Brooklyn (The Neighborhood) : I cannot say enough about this neighborhood. Located at the southernmost tip of Brooklyn, BayRidge once a community predominantly inhabited by Italian Americans, now boast a vibrant diverse community comprised of Asians, Yemeni, Russian, Algerian (among others). A small town vibe, at a stones throw from all the city action. If you chose to stay local (like I do) then there is no shortage of restaurants, bars and shopping.
Commute to Tribeca Door to Door is around 40-45 minutes via the R @ 86th or 96th streets (local), N & D express to the city. Also plenty of express buses in the neighborhood.
You:
Above all, you are clean, kind, and respectful of the space and its inhabitants (including the cats). We, the residents look out for one another while respecting boundaries and privacy. It’s a cozy apartment, so an ability to coexist comfortably while valuing personal space is essential.

Move in:
1st months rent and security- $2700 Realty Co. may want to do a credit check and see some financials, but we can “cross that bridge…”
