The location is a dream: right in the heart of West Village! Situated on a gorgeous tree-lined street with some of the most incredible restaurants, bars, and music venues all within a 5-minute walk (I’ll gladly share recommendations). The Hudson River is 2 blocks over and ideal for catching sunsets/having picnics/going for bike rides/runs. Washington Square Park and the High Line are also super close. And there are tennis courts and pickleball courts a few minutes away.
I have a queen-sized Murphy bed that is surprisingly comfortable (I was skeptical at first) and when folded up it feels even more spacious. The apartment gets a lot of good light from both southern and western exposures which keeps my plant babies healthy! I have a reading nook that looks out onto the street that is my happy place. Ideal for getting cozy with a book and cup of tea.
I work from home comfortably though often pop to a nearby cafe to mix things up. The space includes a dishwasher, A/C, Wi-Fi, communal washer/dryer, and a communal garden (open spring-fall).
I love my home. I’ve put in a ton of effort to make it warm and welcoming. I’m looking for someone who would be respectful and considerate. The building is an art deco from the 1940s so it has nice solid walls. Smoking is not permitted. My neighbors are great and we have a live-in superintendent who is incredibly kind and helpful!
I've been living here for around 2.5yrs now which has been wonderful! I'll be showing the space and will be the contact person.
