It's located on the back half of the building away from the street so very quiet and faces our private back patio where your future roommate has a robust garden. The building was newly renovated before we moved in and there are only two other apartments so it's a very calm building with little noise.

About the apartment
Our 2-floor unit takes up the ground + 1st floor, and there is one unit of 4 others that live above us. Our unit has amenities like a washer and dryer, dishwasher, and private patio with a greenhouse. The building has a lockbox to help with securing package deliveries. Everyone in our building knows one another and are good about helping out with delivery issues.

Utilities (internet, gas, electric) range on average from $60-120/mo depending on the season. We split the cost of shared household supplies.

About you
We're an all female house and strongly prefer women to apply.

-Must be a tidy person who cleans up after themselves and is willing to participate in a light weekly cleaning schedule
-If a smoker, must smoke outside (we have a backyard)
-Able to provide proof of income and pass a standard credit check

About This Lister

You'll be living with three working professionals in our 30s: a UX designer, garden & landscape designer, and graphic designer. Most of us are either working or spending our free time outside the apartment. We treat this place as a sanctuary and want to preserve the tranquility in the shared spaces. We enjoy getting to know each other through casual chats and hangouts, and infrequently host a bigger gathering for the occasional birthday or holiday. Guests are welcome in moderation, and a heads-up is always appreciated. This is a chill and friendly group that has a democratic process for sharing the home and values communication and community-mindedness.

Our cat is a wonderful roommate who doesn't shed, is quiet, and mostly keeps to her owner's room at night or lounges in the common area.

Rental requirements

Priority will be given to those who can meet in person. Please be prepared to provide a reference from a past roommate or landlord as well as a deposit of $1100 for lease signing. Please note this is a lease takeover for one month from May 1 to May 31 with expectation of renewal for June 1 2026 to June 1 2027. Applications must meet the landlords rental requirements for final approval. The room can be available earlier than May 1 at an ammortized rate. Please feel free to reach out and ask.
