🐱THE ROLE
We're looking for a Cat Correspondent based in New York City — someone who genuinely loves cats and enjoys spending time with them. This role involves visiting local shelters or adoption centers, filming short clips of cats, and capturing their personalities on camera.
You'll help introduce these cats to the world and give them a better chance of finding a home.
✅ RESPONSIBILITIES
Visit shelters or adoption locations (such as Petco or cat cafe), we will coordinate access in advance.
Film short clips of adoptable cats
Capture simple moments: playing, interacting, treat taste tests, personality shots
Gather basic information about each cat (name, time at shelter, personality traits)
Send footage directly to us after filming
Filming is simple and lightweight, should take less than 15min-20min to film each cat.
🤳IDEAL CANDIDATE
We're looking for someone who:
Truly loves cats and enjoys being around them 🐾
Believes pets are family members
Feels excited about helping shelter cats get adopted
Has an iPhone and is comfortable filming with it
Is reliable and organized
Can interact calmly with cats of different personalities (shy, playful, curious)
Experience with video production is not required.
⏱️ TIME COMMITMENT
~approx. 2 hours per filming session
Approximately 1–2 sessions per month
During each session you may film 6–8 cats, which becomes multiple episodes.

Each episode introduces one cat, shares their personality, and ends with a simple "taste test" moment to see if they approve of our treat.
