I am subletting my large one-bedroom on the edge of Crown Heights/PLG/Flatbush for a little over two weeks while I'm at a residency!

The apartment features a spacious living room, separate bedroom with a queen-size bed, kitchen with air fryer/toaster/rice cooker/slow cooker/Nespresso, bathtub, windows in every room, hardwood floors, many books. Second floor of a quiet elevator building. 10 minute walk from the Kingston 3 and 12 minute walk from the Sterling 2/5.

Predominantly Hasidic area with lots of Hasidic cafes (Brooklyn Bakehouse, Almah Cafe), grocery stores (two Koshertowns within 5 minutes), and restaurants nearby. 20 minute walk to a new Lidl, which just opened on Empire. Delis are around a 5 minute walk. 5 minutes to a lovely neighborhood park; 15 minutes to Brower Park; 25 minutes to Prospect Park. 25 minutes to a yoga studio (Yoga Tribe) that I love, if you're into that kinda thing :) 15 mins from Rodeo (bar) and Polly's (cafe). No washer, dryer, or dishwasher. Laundromat is a 2 minute walk.

My cat Missouri (Missy) is part of the deal! She’s very easygoing, but I’m looking for a subletter who’s communicative and happy to share regular updates—ideally a quick note every day (I’m a frequent TrustedHousesitters user and value that level of communication). I’m hoping to find someone who genuinely enjoys cats and is used to caring for them. I’ve sublet through Listings Project twice before and both experiences were excellent!

$1000 for 16 days + $200 cleaning fee. WiFi and gas are included. Electricity is included up to $50 and will be deducted from the deposit beyond that amount (which it shouldn't exceed unless you run the AC 24/7).
