About this Lister

I've been doing small business books and fractional CFO since graduating college in 2012 with a degree in accounting.

While the full time offer with Ernst & Young was tempting, I thoroughly enjoy the reward of working one on one with small business owners who, while great at running their businesses, are not great at the numbers side of things.

I am an artist myself, and a musician. In my mind, creating a business is in itself a creative act. Creative small business can run the gamut from restauranters to piano teachers to actors, jewelry designers, store owners and everywhere in-between.

Background and Expertise

I started doing the numbers for my parent's businesses by age 14. Always the detail oriented one in the family. I was inspired to get a degree in accounting first off because I was so good at it and secondly because I wanted to help small business owner entrepreneurs like my father to understand the math behind running their businesses. Self-directed all throughout school, I graduated with honors, and internship to one of the big four accounting firms and fulltime work offer at Ernst & Young, LLP. Because I am an Artist as well, and I love anything alternative, I ended up deciding to work with small businesses instead, starting with CFO / Controller for a family run wine-bar restaurant in Boulder, CO. We were open for five years and sold at a profit! I have over 12 years of experience running my own small bookkeeping firm for a large variety of small business. Just this year, in 2024, I hired a fulltime bookkeeper / assistant who is doing an amazing job. I look forward to continuing to grow my small business as I help you to grow yours!
