Welcome to our sunny and cozy LA oasis nestled in an uncharacteristically quiet cul-de-sac in Los Angeles on the edge of Highland Park and Mount Washington.

Our home is a 2 bedroom, 1 bath bungalow with great natural sunlight, a private outdoor space, private garage, central A/C and heating, and full washer/dryer.

The primary bedroom has a big king sized bed, dresser, full closet and great breeze. We use the second bedroom as an office/creative space, but has a closet and can certainly be used as a second bedroom.

We love to cook, and have a million appliances and goodies for you to play with. We frequently use the yard for year-round barbecues, especially when the Queen of Sheba vine and Jasmine flowers surrounding the yard blooms in Spring!

We have lovely, lovely neighbors who have been in the neighborhood for many decades, ours is a great spot for people who need a quiet, peaceful space in the heart of the Los Angeles.

We are walking distance from Figueroa where there are cafes, yoga studios, art galleries, restaurants, farmer's market, etc!

Hello!

My name is Jackie (she/her/hers), and I am a stand-up comedian born and raised in West LA. My partner, Rafe (he/him/his), is a farmer from Northern California and we have been together for many years and have been lucky enough to build a sunny, cozy space together.

We are going to NYC for Jan-Jun 2026 so my partner Rafe can finish his studies at Columbia University and so I can struggle as a NYC comedian :)

Our landlord is a hands-on, sweet man who lives up the street (and has for 40 years!) and plans block parties, and randomly drops off wood and mandarin oranges.
