The apartment is a stylish, furnished alcove studio - meaning it's a studio but not the box kind - the bed is tucked away from the living area around a corner, there's a dedicated kitchen and the bathroom is down the hall in the back of the apartment.
There is central heat with temperature control in the apartment, the kitchen and linens are fully stocked, and the neighbors are friendly and quiet. The Frame TV is mounted on the wall which is great and convenient if you like that, there is ample closet space (two double closets plus a coat closet), and the bed is a queen size leesa mattress.
All utilities are included in the price, including fast wifi (I work from home). There are two sets of shared washers and dryers in the basement - only 8 units in the building so I haven't ever had them be unavailable.
As for the neighborhood, Clinton Hill is absolutely charming, full of historic brownstones and peppered with cute bars, shops and restaurants. Close to Pratt if you're a student, 5 minutes from the Classon Ave G stop for getting around Brooklyn, and 7 minutes from the Clinton-Washington A/C stop for getting into Manhattan.
Hello! I'm Melissa (she/her) and this is my apartment. I've lived in NYC for about 8 years and love it (though I sometimes fly south/west for the winter which is why I'm subletting). I own the space so I'll be your contact for any issues but I know my neighbors and have handyman contacts anything should come up.

To protect us both, we'll have a lease agreement that covers the period we agree on, with rent due monthly, 50% of the first month due at signing (to reserve the apartment) and the other 50% due on first day in the apartment.
