I offer extensive Common App personal statement brainstorming, ideating and writing, including all additional supplemental essays. I help develop an encompassing narrative with the student and decide, in essence, what the pieces are and "what goes where" among dozens of additional essays. My process also helps the student stay organized and adhere to deadlines.

I’m a graduate of the Columbia University Graduate School of Journalism and the MFA program in Creative Writing at the University of Montana, where I taught composition classes and fiction workshops. I’ve worked for literary agencies and small publications, including Outside Magazine, a local newspaper in Alaska, and Yale Medicine Magazine.

I've worked for a consulting company in Southern California specializing in competitive STEM programs, and privately for students in the Northeast applying to Ivy League and liberal arts schools.
