Tara’s Retreat
Tara’s Cottage is a rural simple retreat in the hills of Milan NY.
Available for short or long term rental. Minimum of two nights,.
Once you arrive there is a simple feel and the sounds of nature surrounding you and an abundance of fresh air.
There is internet available but no TV . A selection of books, This a place to encourage a fully restorative experience. Without the distractions of the modern world.
It is close to world renowned Omega Institute, Bard College, the quaint villages of Rhinebeck and Tivoli and several national parks. As well as many other treasure the Hudson Valley has to offer.
There is also a hike towards the back of the property which give fantastic views across the Hudson once you reach the top.
You may be greeted by a chicken as there are a friendly trio that live on the property.
The cottage is located along a dirt lane and requires all weather tires in the winter.

Amenities
It sleeps four comfortably. However would be ideal for a romantic getaway or a small family retreat.
Two full sized beds.
Fully equipped kitchen including microwave, gas stove , refrigerator etc.
Full bathroom.
Wood burning Stove.
There is NO washer /dryer but laundry can be arranged at extra cost or there is a friendly laundromat 17 minutes away.
Note:this is a restored hunting cabin , if you are 6 ft 3 or over this might not be the place for you. The bathroom ceiling is low.
Outdoors seating in a couple of areas and an old style coal grill.
