We’re subletting our carefully furnished two bedroom, one bathroom apartment in Brooklyn for the full month of February, with a few months of runway afterward depending on the fit. We’re traveling for work for an extended period and have flexibility on the end date for the right person. The apartment is in a classic brownstone on a quiet street and sits on the second floor (walk-up). It’s bright, well lit, and thoughtfully set up to feel comfortable and easy to live in, with a huge private balcony that’s great for fresh air, coffee breaks, or a little outdoor reset.
One of the best parts of the place is the kitchen. It’s genuinely large and chef-equipped, with everything you’d want for cooking: a professional KitchenAid, stainless steel pots and pans, spices, and all the basics already here. There’s also a dishwasher, plus in-unit washer. If you work remotely, this place is a dream. There are two dedicated office spaces and powerful wi-fi, so it’s easy to settle in.
Location-wise, it’s hard to beat. Walking distance to Park Slope, Fort Green, Cobble Hill. We’re right by Atlantic Terminal, which makes getting around Brooklyn and into Manhattan incredibly easy, with access to multiple subway lines and great connectivity.
We’re a couple in our early 30s and we’ve really made this apartment our home. We both work from home (one of us in education and the other in climate), so we spend a lot of time here day-to-day: cooking, working, hosting dinner parties with friends, and enjoying Brooklyn.
We’re heading out for a stretch due to an exciting job opportunity that will have us traveling, and we’re looking for the right person to stay here and watch over the place while we’re gone. We’re genuinely obsessed with this apartment and have put a lot of care into how it’s furnished and set up, so we’re hoping to find someone who will treat it with the same respect and attention.
We’ll be showing the apartment and would love to find someone we connect with, since that peace-of-mind matters to us.
Please send a message with a little about yourself (who would be living here, your ideal dates). If it feels like a good fit, we’ll set up a short call or video chat and can share more details and answer questions.
After that, we’ll schedule a walkthrough, either in person or via video depending on timing.
To finalize, we’ll ask for a simple sublet agreement and first month’s rent and a security deposit.
We’re aiming for someone to take the apartment for the most of February, and can likely extend, depending on the fit. We’re flexible on the dates, so if you’re looking for something slightly shorter or longer, feel free to reach out.
