subletting my little 1 bed west village apartment on patchin place! a gated, cobblestone street that feels like old new york in the best way. it’s a small, cozy 1 bed with a fireplace that’s super calm and private, but you’re literally steps from some of the best cafés, bars, and restaurants in the city.

it’s right next to the library and a really sweet community garden, the building has its own private garden space too (with cardinals, blue jays and all sorts of birds!). the street itself has so much history (marlon brando and e.e. cummings both lived here), and it genuinely feels like a hidden pocket of the city (with one of only 2 remaining original gas lamps in manhattan!)

it’s compact, but it’s my little sanctuary. perfect for someone who wants a peaceful, central place to land in new york, whether for a short stay or a longer chapter.
