Hi all, we are a couple looking to sublet one of the rooms in the two-bedroom apartment we share. Our place is a 10 minute walk to the Bedford-Nostrand stop on the G train and the Kingston-Throop stop on the C, and only about a 15 minutes' walk away from the Nostrand stop on the A. There are also quite a few buses that stop close to our place. The neighborhood is nice and friendly, with a bunch of restaurants, bars, coffee shops, and parks an easy walk away.

The apartment itself is a sort of pseudo-railroad style, with the front door opening into the kitchen, and the bedrooms on opposite ends of a long apartment layout, so there's a decent amount of privacy. We'd be renting out the bedroom at the back, which is a bit smaller, but it's quiet and doesn't get much street noise. There's a smaller closet and also an accessible fire escape that doubles as a sort of tiny balcony. The room is currently furnished with a bed (mattress included), shelving unit, a bedside table, and small chest of drawers. We also have an A/C window unit for the summer.

The kitchen is pretty well stocked and you're welcome to use any utensils or pots and pans you need. We have a cozy living room just off the kitchen where we don't spend too much time, but there's a comfy couch, eating area, and bookshelf. The bathroom is just off the kitchen, right next to the back room.

There is no in-unit laundry, but the laundromat is just a couple of doors down, so it's basically the next best thing!
