Looking for a roommate! Room available in cozy cottage-style house with beautiful lake view from bedroom! The house is directly across the street from a private lake and rent includes beach/lake access.

All common spaces are shared—kitchen, dining room, living room and laundry room. The house has features a working stone fireplace and hardwood floors. The house also has two patios and a large yard with a fire pit and garden-in-progress. Lots of big windows make for fantastic light and incredible lake views. Dishwasher, washer and dryer all in house. Off-street parking. House is built on a hill with long staircase and is not handicap accessible. Utilities not included in rent.

Your room is on the first floor next to the kitchen and first floor bathroom. There are two full bathrooms in the house so bathrooms do not need to be shared if wanted. Hallway into room is tight. Small bedroom can fit a full bed with dresser and bookshelf or queen bed and small dresser. Can come furnished with full bed if needed. Room has two closets and three windows. Views from bedroom window also include huge beautiful weeping willow.

House is 15 minute drive from Metronorth Station in Katonah, NY. 10 minute drive to Ridgefield, CT. Coffee shops, bookstores, bars, movie theaters thrift stores and grocery stores all within 10-15 minute drive. Library and post office 10 minute walk from house.

You would be living with me (Ben, he/him)—an early 30s man—friendly, respectful and clean. I’m an LGBTQ ally. I have a partner who will be visit occasionally but does not live at the house. I work in environmental conservation and manage nature preserves at a nearby land trust. I am out of the house during the days. I enjoy playing guitar, snowboarding, playing hockey, working out, gardening, playing video games and spending time with friends in the free time. I’ve been living in the house for just under a year.
