Good sized room in a great shared apartment with an amazing outdoor space off the Graham Ave L. This is a two bedroom, one bathroom apartment in a small, family owned and operated corner building with an excellent, responsive landlord. The bedroom has a large closet, a double window facing east, and room for a full sized bed, desk, small bureau, and bookcase. The apartment also has a big shared closet in the open kitchen / living area. The best thing about the apartment is the huge outdoor terrace! We have space for plants, a large table, and a hammock. Bonus if you have a green thumb :)
My roommate is moving across the country and we're still figuring out what she's leaving / taking, so the apartment may look a bit different when you move in! Ideally you have some furniture to share.
Rent is $1400 a month with shared expenses (internet and electricity) running about $100-190 a month.

Hi! I'd be your roommate. I'm a woman (she/her) in my mid-30s and have lived in Brooklyn for over six years and in this apartment for about a year and a half. I'm originally from Boston and work as an urban planning consultant. I work remotely, so am in the apartment full-time during the day, though I do tend to travel a couple days a month for work and tend to go away around one weekend a month. I'm very chill, clean, prefer to go out than have people over, and have a strong social network in the city and lots of hobbies that keep me occupied! At home, I like hanging, watching movies, or having dinner occasionally with my roommate, but also like keeping our separate schedules. Looking for someone with a similar vibe, who likes a friendly and chill space! No pets (sorry -- no exceptions!).
