WELCOME to our whimsical Bushwick oasis (: My roommate and I are in search of a 3rd roomie to join us in our very special gem of a space. Our 2 floor, 1.5 bath abode features insanely high ceilings, a dishwasher, huge rooftop with skyline views, front stoop garden, FREE LAUNDRY, and the sweetest community you will ever meet. Our unit is part of a 3 story building with 6 units total- all occupied by creatives/artists/LGBQT+ friendly folk who love to have movie nights on the roof and the occasional yap on the front steps.

We are sandwiched right in between the Gates J and Myrtle Wyckoff L&M trains, and Citi bikes are right on the corner. Bar Cornelia is a step away along with other local gems like Toad Style and House Party.

Our unit is especially unique- we have no neighbors above, below, or adjacent to us- an appendage of the building if you will... so we have some of the best sound privacy on one of the quietest green blocks in Bushwick.

THE ROOM we have available is our entire 900 sq ft basement with it’s own private half bath and private entrance. There is a window on the staircase that supplements the area with natural light in the daytime, and one of the walls features the original exposed stone foundation for the house, built in 1931. It is an excellent space for a creative.

THE ROOMMATES you would be living with are myself (Mel, female, 30). I am a professional tattoo artist and am usually either at work, drawing in my room, or tending to my gardens on the front stoop/roof. Katya (female, 29), is an immigrant from the Ukraine that moved here to flee the war almost 3 years ago. She works in welding and wine with a smile like the sun. We like to have movie nights in the apartment sometimes, garden, go to the occasional show (mostly punk), go dancing, and cook together (maybe a few times a month). expressing ourselves through decorating the apartment and in a variety of other mediums is one of our favorite things to do here, and you are more than welcome to join!
