What’s included:
- Private bedroom
- Shared kitchen, living room, and bathroom

- Convenient Washington Heights location near public transit and local shops

What’s expected (light support only):
- Giving verbal reminders before he leaves for work including reminders to address hygiene needs such as daily showers and changing clothes
- Occasional reminders to keep the apartment clean and organized
- Helping maintain a calm, structured, respectful living environment
- Share meals when possible and teach meal preparation when needed
- Expectation to stay overnight every night in case of support needs
The amount of work wouldn't be more than 5 hours a week (around 20 hours a month).

This is not a medical or hands-on caregiving role (no bathing, lifting, or personal care).

Roommate requirements:
- Male roommate required
- Reliable, patient, and communicative
- Send regular updates to family and rest of support team
- Reasonably tidy and clean, with the ability to effectively demonstrate and mentor in daily living skills
- Respectful of shared spaces

Background check and interview required

Move-in date: April 1, 2026
