The smaller room in my Williamsburg South Side apartment will be available June 1st. Ive listed a 6 month run but can be longer if a good fit or shorter.

It's a smaller pre-war building, very quiet with primarily professional inhabitants. The landlord is responsive and building is well maintained. Entire building is non smoking and there is no in house washer/dryer.

Ive lived over here for years and love the neighborhood. There is a grocery store and pharmacy a few blocks down, laundromat couple doors down and multiple coffee and cafes on the block. W'burg Whole Foods as well as the rest of Bedford area is about 15 min walk.

The transportation situation is nearly ideal and is a winning attribute of the apartment. Hewes JMZ is around the corner and the L and G a quick walk away. Also close to major bus lines

The apartment itself is pretty charming -all hardwood floors and most of the original details. The kitchen and bathroom good size with windows and great light. Kitchen is pretty well supplied as far as tableware, appliances so not a lot of room for extra stuff but obviously will accommodate as needed. No microwave or dishwasher. There is a small living are between the bedrooms.

The room is in a railroad with separate entrances- It's 8'x12' at widest point but narrows. Ive kept a large daybed with under storage as part of furnishings along with a built in clothing rack and there is also a small closet. Bed will pull out to a double. I have 2 cats but they do not have access to the room unless invited lol. There is a window which does get light but faces next door. AC is not supplied but would be a window unit

I like a neat apartment but relaxed about it. Ive found that for overall cleaning of common areas switching every other week works. On the daily just clean up dishes pots pans stove top, put away recycling and trash etc.

In summary if you are someone who travels a lot or spends most time out for work/school this is an ideal situation
