My husband and I are renting out our bright and comfortable 1-bedroom furnished apartment in Long Island City while we’re away for a year starting in April. The apartment is available for a 12-month lease from April 1, 2026 to March 31, 2027, with some flexibility on dates for the right fit.
Our space gets a lot of natural light throughout the day and has high ceilings that make it feel open and airy. There’s a private balcony that’s been one of our favorite parts of the apartment—great for coffee, reading, or just getting some fresh air.
The apartment has a washer and dryer in-unit, a dishwasher, and plenty of storage. It’s located in a doorman building with an elevator, gym, outdoor pool, and rooftop.
Transit is extremely convenient: the E, F, 7, and G trains are all nearby, making it easy to get into Manhattan or Brooklyn quickly. You’ll also find a number of great restaurants within walking distance and easy access to Trader Joes, Target, Murray Playground, Court Square Park, Movement LIC, MoMaPS1, Noguchi Museum, Gantry Plaza State Park, and more.
We’re looking for a responsible, respectful tenant who will enjoy the apartment and treat it as their home while we’re away. Happy to share more details or answer questions.
My husband and I are longtime NYC residents and professionals (him in tech and me in finance) who have truly loved living in this apartment. We moved in a few years ago together into this apartment (although I've been a long time LIC resident!). It’s been a calm, bright home for us, and we’re renting it while we spend a year out west to pursue a year of rock climbing. We’re clean, organized, and attentive to the space, and we’re hoping to find someone who will treat it with the same care. We're are looking forward to being in touch!
