We own large two family house on a residential tree lined street right on Upper Highland Park. Live in spacious 3 bedroom upstairs furnished apt. We hold 1 bedroom for us but are away about 2/3-3/4 time in our small retirement house in PA.

No new pets at this time—we do already have a fluffy cat who usually comes with us when away. You will share lg apt with only one other person when we are gone. Share:

About This Lister

We’re a couple (newly retired—young at heart) have worked therapeutically with creative arts, music, yoga, environmental education, and spirituality in healthcare, education, Interfaith spiritual, and community settings. Guitar musician, artist, and poet.

Now spend 2/3-3/4 of our time in our "retirement" country house in PA,—you would share with only one other roommate when we are away. We also have a big fluffy cat Magic who always comes with us when in PA. Not accepting other pets at this time.
Our son and his fiancé  (in mid 30’s) live and work separately in the downstairs apartment and are artists/designers. They are happy to engage and help out with needs in house.

We’ve rented rooms to many different folks including artists/creatives/students/teachers through Listings who have enjoyed sharing in community, need a furnished place, ] are transitioning to NYC, here short term, or just looking for a change from busy streets to come home to. We are friendly and engaging, but also offer you quiet, privacy, and your own space— and we are away a lot.
