Furnished bedroom in a spacious 2BR apartment in the heart of Alphabet City / East Village. Furniture currently includes full sized bed, desk, chair and nightstand - this can be cleared out upon request if necessary. The room is a great size for New York City. It includes an A/C unit, a ceiling fan, a great sized closet and a large upper storage area above the closet. There is much distance between the two rooms in the apartment which is nice for added privacy. Overall, this room is very "vibey" with newly applied wallpaper, which makes for a relaxing ambiance. The room stays quiet as it is not street-facing.

Common spaces include large living / dining room with long sectional and adjustable dining table, fully stocked kitchen, washer in unit (dryer in basement) and bathroom with window. The common areas have 11 ft ceilings and are drenched in natural light, with fire escape access and beautiful glimpses of downtown Manhattan.

We have a live-in super who is very responsive and there have been no issues to note in my many years of living in this great apartment. The surrounding neighborhood is full of life with many great restaurants, bars and cafes.

The building is conveniently situated about a 10 minute walk to the F train (2nd Ave), 15 min walk to the F/M/J/Z (Broadway/Lafayette), 15 min walk to the L train (14th street) and just feet away from many bus lines (M9, M21, M14, M15). There is a grocery store right next to the building, and about a 10 minute walk to Trader Joe’s. Tompkins Square Park and the Williamsburg bridge are also a very short walk from the building and make for a great place to spend time outside.
