Large bedroom for rent in a HUGE 1800sq 2-bathroom duplex that feels like brownstone living in Bed Stuy/Ocean Hill. This apartment has a serious wow-factor and is a hard-to-find Brooklyn gem.

Accessibility to the apartment requires 1 set of stairs. Renter will mainly have the first floor to themself. Only one other roommate in the apartment (me!) and I live on the second floor of the apartment.

Apartment features:
- washer/dryer in unit
- dishwasher
- natural light on both sides of the apartment and skylight in the middle
- close to the A/C/E/L
- quiet, tree-lined street
- two cats and a small dog

Room features:
- two large windows
- large enough room to fit a king or queen size bed and still have a small seating area within the bedroom itself!
- bright light
- overlooks the backyard on the first floor
- bathroom next to the room that is separate from mine (might be shared when guests are over or if I'm using the kitchen, but it's basically your bathroom!)

The renter will have the only bedroom on the first floor. I live on the second floor of the duplex, so unless I'm in the kitchen/common area down there, you have that first floor to yourself quite often.

- Queer/trans/poly/kinky folx to the front
- Doesn't drink alcohol or do powder substances (I'm in recovery)
- Considerate of noise and cleanliness/tidiness of shared spaces
- Comfortable communicating about how to collaboratively navigate shared space
- Willing to meet in the middle to support each other's needs
- Does not come with a pet friend of their own (sorry!)
