The apartment is in a prewar building on the 5th floor with an old-school wood-paneled elevator (there are still about 5-10 steps to get up the stoop). The building has a great accessible roof, just one flight up with amazing views of the city skyline. Only 3 blocks from the Nostrand Ave A/C and 1 block from the LIRR which will take you straight to JFK faster than a car.

The bedroom itself is huge (12x13’) with a closet and a window. It comfortably fits a queen bed plus dresser and bookshelf, desk, etc. or a king bed with a dresser and less furniture.

The apartment is partially furnished, but the bedroom will need a bed. You’ll be living with my roommate’s sibling who is subletting the other room for the summer. They are quiet and respectful, usually at work. Our lease expires at the end of August so you could apply for a year lease with the landlord if interested. It is rent stabilized. If you take over the lease, there is also a third (smaller) bedroom included making it a great 3bdr for an insane price. For the duration of the summer sublet we will be using that smaller room as locked storage. Rent includes utilities and wifi. I can include towels if helpful.
