•Large, beautiful, serene, light-filled, renovated, furnished loft approximately 1200sq. ft. with splendid 11' high ceilings, 14 windows. A great place to experience NYC and an ideal place to work at home. Spring has been blooming beautifully with the park 3 doors down.

•Occupying the front of an Artists' building [since 1988] on quiet street. Recently repainted, 14 windows, hardwood floors, exposed brick, 50’s Danish modern furniture. The loft is chic, airy, and elegant. Great desk in main room. Second small desk available if necessary. On street with some of the neighborhood's most beautiful land-marked buildings. Washer/dryer in building, library-quiet air-conditioning and ceiling fan keeps the loft cool in summer; hot water on demand. Wi-fi includes access to Amazon Prime Video and Netflix, plus Criterion. Only a few yards to Tompkins Sq. No smoking. Please note: 6th floor walk up.

•Great for couple, artist, dancer, academic, worker, someone new to city looking for a restful place to land, who want to be close but not on top of the hustle and bustle of Midtown Manhattan, or just want the room to move and dance, while working at home. On quiet, lovely street with trees and in a neighborhood that hosts unique book stores, local designers, wonderful award-winning restaurants and many inviting cafes. Enjoy the neighborhood, order in or use the Farmers’ Market which is held in the Park every Sunday. You are close to Union Market, Trader Joes and Whole Foods as well as smaller organic markets and a spacious Associated Market down the block. Access to roof for the July 4th fireworks; and to the outdoor Olympic-sized city pool "Hamilton Fish" off Delancy, open Memorial to Labor Day.

•The apartment includes a flat screen TV, stereo, French Press, a fully equipped kitchen, new stainless fridge from Fisher/Paykel that keeps vegetables better than any fridge I’ve ever experienced, gas range, full bath, internet, wireless, air conditioning, central heating and hot water. 5 to 8 minute walk to the F, G and L subway lines; 10 min to 5, 6, and N, R, both IRT and BMT lines. Close to First Ave and Ave A buses. Bike to work.
$5000 plus utilities/mo. For June 1st through September 30, 2026 with a 5 day interim, then potentially returning October 6 to continue through November 20th. Prefer entire time Pro-rated for partial month. Will be professionally cleaned before move-in.

•This is a special place for the right person(s): 14 windows, 50s modern furniture, great art, classy and spacious. One subletter described as “amazing”; another said he had rarely seen such gracious and elegant space in the city. Best live/work sublet in Manhattan, hands down. One of the most spacious and airy lofts you will find in the thriving and exciting neighborhood of the East Village. You can see the moon out the windows!

Some reviews from past renters:
"This is an incredible apartment. the place is a slice of NY few people get to experience. Everything was perfect, the apartment is full of the best kind of character, and the park is super close. If you are into lofty spaces and have an opportunity to stay here, I highly recommend you do."
•"This comfortable apartment is a joy to come home to at night. And the many windows and books and plants make it a pleasure during the day as well. We had everything we needed for comfort, and the bed is lightly firm and good. The water heats up quickly and the shower has nice pressure."
•"The flat is just amazing. so spacious and central. Really perfect location. Nice and quiet but less than 5 min walk to great breakfast/brunch places. We thought the flat was too good to be true, but was exactly like the pictures and more."
•"The apartment is an even better experience than the photographs show. Being on the 6th floor, you are distant from most of the noise of NY below. A fabulous, beautiful and spacious space to retreat to after a busy day. You are within walking distance to good restaurants as well as less expensive food options, small markets so you can self-cater and parks. The only issue is you might love it so much you don't feel compelled to go out!"
