Join me in my huge, bright and beautiful apartment with private outdoor space! If you like sunlight, spaciousness, and privacy and you are looking for a short-term, furnished bedroom, this is for you.

Your room is a large, bright bedroom with a queen-sized bed, dresser, reading nook with shelves, art work on the walls, closet, full length mirror, and room to spare.

You'll have direct access to our private outdoor space with a roses, grill, and outdoor seating with plenty of space. The living room and kitchen are XL and recently updated with a new dining table, kitchen island, and plants (ask for pictures!). The whole apartment has high ceilings, hardwood floors, and tenant-controlled heat. The unit is on second floor with one flight of stairs and the building has a security system. The apartment also comes with my very cute cat who loves to cuddle and play with her favorite humans!

The express A/C stop at Nostrand is a <5-min walk and the G is a 15-min walk. Close by are coffee shops, cute cocktail bars and restaurants, Herbert Von King Park, natural food stores, grocery stores, Walgreens, laundromats, specialty bodegas, and bike shops. Every month, a new restaurant or bar seems to open. There also are a Blink Fitness, a spin studio, and two yoga studios within a few blocks. Everything you'll want is nearby!

About This Lister

I'm in my mid/late 30's and cis-female (she/her) and work in design. I work from home ~1 day/week (my desk is in a living room nook) and split time between Brooklyn and upstate.

When I'm home, I prioritize rest and sleep. I love to cook, hang out in the garden, read, paint, catch up on Netflix, and be in bed by 10:30ish and out the door by 8:30am. I spend most mornings journaling in my room or on the deck when it's warm enough.

My ideal subletter is friendly enough to say hello after work, is very clean and willing to share in cleaning duties, and responsible enough to trust with feeding my cat in a pinch. Ideally, you're also into gardening - my usual green thumb has found other priorities this year and you're welcome to dig in!
