Hi!

I'll be away this summer, from June 1st to August 31st, and I'm looking to sublet my room for that time. I can be a little flexible on either side of that if needed.

It's a large room, well over 200 sq. feet with its own private bathroom. There's a large closet, and while I'll be using some of that to store my own stuff, you'll still have plenty of room to hang your clothes. It's furnished with a large work desk, a queen size bed, and a dresser for your use. There are two ACs in working order. Two windows give you lots of light.

There's an in-unit washer and dryer.

There's also a balcony, and a rooftop. I like to go there and pace around in the mornings.

You'll be sharing the apartment with my two wonderful roommates Val and Amanda, in their early and late 30s respectively. The one works in public health; the other is a design historian and professor at the New School. There are also two cats, Mariah Kitty, and Komiya. They mostly keep to themselves, but maybe you'll have more luck in charming them than I've had!

There's plenty of pots and pans and plates and cups and silverware, etc, for your communal use. You'll get a third of the fridge and freezer and a shelf in the pantry.

We are very accessible, near the Q,B (Prospect Park stop) 2,3,4,5 (Franklin Av-Medgar Evers College stop). It's about half an hour to get to Union Square.

We're also just a couple blocks from Prospect Park and the Brooklyn Botanical Gardens (I could leave behind my membership card which will get you in for free if you're interested!)

Plenty of nice coffee shops you can walk to. You'll have options with grocery stores too.

The rent is $1800 which is all-inclusive: you won't have to worry about utilities or Wi-Fi or anything like that. First month and security deposit required upon moving in.

We're looking for someone who doesn't smoke or 420 in the apartment, doesn't bring the party home. Someone who keeps the kitchen and communal spaces clean.

It could possibly work for a couple, though we would probably charge more in that case.

Other than that, let me know if you have any questions, and please tell us a little about yourself. If it feels like a good fit we can do a Zoom or in-person meet and greet!
