The apartment itself is a spacious 3 bed, 1 bath in a small building in a great Williamsburg spot near the bridge close to a ton of cafes, bodegas and restaurants. First floor but there is a step to enter the building. Only minutes from Domino Park, Whole Foods and Trader Joes. We have a private backyard (accessible through 2 bedrooms including the largest one that would be yours). Laundromat is a block and a half away. About a 10-minute walk to the Bedford L or 7 minutes to the Marcy J/M/Z and bus stop across the street.
The available room fits up to a king-sized bed and has its own full-size closet and recessed space that previous roommates have made into a work area or put a couch or bed itself! The room would be unfurnished (with furnished shared living room).
We’d love for someone to take over the room who is considerate, responsible, tidy, quiet and easy-going who also enjoys a homey, peaceful space.

About us (two early 30’s females, both she/her):
* Maddy works typically 9-6 a combination of weekdays and weekends in retail. Ali works typically 9-5 at a nonprofit remotely a few days a week (with her cat). Both of us are out of the apartment fairly often but appreciate a quiet, mindful space when home
* Anyone who identifies as LGBTQ+ and/or BIPOC should feel comfortable/welcome in our home
* Open, respectful communication is a must
* We appreciate mindfulness of common spaces and share cleaning responsibilities—we generally strive to keep the place tidy and free of crumbs/messes, but are understanding of occasional chaotic days
* We’re not partiers though have hosted low-key dinner gatherings in the past and only occasionally have guests, letting the other roommates know ahead of time and usually not for more than a few days/nights if staying over
* 420 friendly though ask that you keep to your room
We are looking for someone to fill the third studio-size room ($1980) beginning August 1, 2025 (flexible with move-in date). Utilities (wifi, electric/gas) average around $100-$130 per person each month. One-month security deposit ($1980) required with lease signing.
Small-medium size pets only. Current roommate has a cat that stays in her room (and a couple stray cats living in the backyard space).
