This beautiful pre-war junior 1-bedroom is on the top (4th) floor of a quaint historic Cobble Hill apartment building. It's located on a restaurant-lined street across from a Trader Joe’s and minutes from all major subway lines into Manhattan, other parts of Brooklyn, and beyond. Each of the windows look out to the sky, the lovely Court Street below, and to views of Manhattan in the distance.

We are seeking a sub-letter from August 5, 2025 through Oct 1, 2025 (2 months) with the potential option to extend for up to 12-months. We are subletting the apartment furnished and fully equipped for one person, or for couples who are used to sharing spaces.

The living room is spacious and equipped with a large couch, dining table, and standing desk. There is a sliding barn door between the bedroom and living room. There is good storage space in the front and bedroom closets, underbed bins, and in the window seat. The space is clean and tidy and feels very open and bright. The kitchen has a beautiful butcher block counter extension built into the window well, countertop dishwasher, gas oven, and electric stove. The bathroom has a gorgeous skylight and large bathtub with shower. The apartment sits at the top of four flights of stairs, and has direct access to the unfinished roof above us through one more stairflight.

Nearby you’ll find food of every kind in markets and restaurants in the surrounding areas, and we’ll give you a full guide to all our favorite spots from grab-and-go gyros to Michelin-starred options all just around the corner. Located just 10 minutes from Brooklyn Bridge Park, it’s easy to run to Piers 4 or 6 for a dose of nature and waterfront views, or Piers 3 or 5 for soccer, basketball, pickleball and more. Blink fitness, Planet Fitness YMCA and Equinox within 5 minutes walking for your gym needs at any pricepoint. If you want to get out of the house for work, there is a WeWork within a 10 minute walk, or many great cafes you can post up in for calls or heads down work with some delicious coffee.

Laundry is just around the corner at a laundromat about 3 blocks away. All utilities and WiFi are included in monthly rent. There is parking available on the street, with street cleaning once a week.

About This Lister

We feel so lucky to have found this incredible spot and hope to have this apartment for years to come. We are a couple of remote workers in design and market research and love to take advantage of the geographic mobility remote work affords us, so we hop around when we can. Our landlord is incredibly kind, and is open to us having trusted friends stay in our place while we’re away. We have a wonderful relationship with him and our building manager that we seek to maintain through a trustworthy and responsible subletter.
