Seeking roommate to fill a spacious medium sized bedroom on the third floor of a recently renovated family home. I've been renting here over a 1 year and a half, and love living here. You have the perks of being in a quieter neighborhood, with immediate access to transit, green space, and greenwood cemetery. Looking for someone for this year at least, but ideally, you love it as much as I do and want longer term.
My room: I live on the front side of the apartment facing the street. My room has access to a great balcony that I'm continuing to spruce up with plants and other decor. During waking hours when I'm not busy working in my room, I'm happy to share access to the balcony.
Love having green spaces in the home and I’m trying to expand my plant collection- extra points if you have a monstera deliciosa cutting to share ;)
Room available for June 1, with slight possibility of earlier but TBD.
If you think this would be a good match, would love to hear some info about you and your ideal living situation!
Hello I’m Theo! I’m a 34 year old NYC native (he/him) currently working as an EMT part-time while finishing up my (hopefully) last semester of physician assistant pre-reqs so I can apply and get into a NYC-based PA program this upcoming cycle.
In my spare time, I’m an enjoyer of sci-fi, ambient music, making curry, and watching whatever looks good on criterion.
Ideal new roomie is someone seeking a friendly, pro-social vibe in a housemate, who is also a solid communicator, and proactive when it comes to their share of apt housekeeping/organizing responsibilities. Any gender welcome!
My vibe as a housemate, socially & sensory: down for conversations to get to know each other, here and there chit chat on the goings-ons in each others’ lives, maybe sharing takeout and watching an impromptu show or movie together when schedules allow or when we're both too lazy/tired to make plans to go out. I like music but also enjoy my peace and quiet while winding down solo from the day.
