My wife and I are looking to rent our 3 bedroom, 1.5 bath house in midcoast Maine this summer while we are out of the country. The house is available for 13 days from August 26 - September 8 with a one week minimum stay.

We will prioritize those who wish to stay for closer to that whole period of time. The full 13 day rate will be discounted to $3500 ($400 off the nightly rate).

The house has a beautiful deck with a gorgeous view of the ocean and it abuts a large parcel of protected land that is full of wildflowers and shades of green.

It is located in the middle of Round Pond Village; Round Pond Coffee and the Granite Hall store are right across the street. It is a short 3-4 minute walk to the The Anchor restaurant, Round Pond Lobster, Muscongus Bay Lobster and King Ro Market. Damariscotta is a 15 minute drive. There are many beautiful hiking trails nearby, including a small nature preserve within walking distance of the house.

Our house was modeled after a George and Martha Washington Cape and has lots of gorgeous vintage details. There is a primary bedroom with queen bed, a guest bedroom with a full bed and a 3rd bedroom with a twin bed.

The house has a large living room, kitchen with breakfast/lunch table and a dining room (as well as additional office space). There is a large recording studio that can double as an office. Several of the rooms in the house are equipped with mini-split air conditioners.

We have fast fiber optic internet (via Spectrum), thus remote work is easily possible. A recent speed test yield 520 mbps download and 23 mbps upload.

We have had great experiences with folks renting via Listings Project in the past and we're seeking someone who treats our house as if they would their own.

My wife and I are the homeowners, having moved from NYC to Maine in 2020. We love this community of people in Round Pond and the natural surroundings are stunning. This rental will take place while we are on a bike trip overseas.
