I am a 40 year old single man and I'm seeking a responsible single person or couple to sublet my one-bedroom apartment from January 27th to May 31st 2025 while I am traveling for work. The unit is in a six story multi unit building with elevator and in-unit washer/dryer and dishwasher. The unit faces 142nd street overlooking a small park. The unit is a gut renovated space with two medium sized closets and huge bathroom. The apartment comes fully furnished with a queen sized bed, dedicated work space, separate kitchen seating area and pull out sofa bed for guests. Kitchen includes full sized refrigerator, electric stove/oven, installed microwave, and dishwasher. Extra appliances include juicer and combo food processor/blender. There are all needed dishes and cookware. Also being offered is a set of sheets, and towels. The rent is $2200 a month and includes internet and electricity. There are radiators in the unit and two air conditioners. There is a small projector which can be connected to a laptop or cell phone for media viewing.
The building is filled mostly with families and single professionals. The building is a 7 min walk to the 2/3 train and a 13 min walk to the A/B/C/D train, both of which as about a 20 minute ride to Columbus Circle.
The neighborhood is covered filled with grocery stores pharmacies, coffee shops, hardware stores, liquor stores and restaurants. There are two medium sized parks located within a 10 minute walk from the building offering great opportunities to get some nature when needed.
I am a dog owner and I am very tidy but it is impossible to keep the place free of dog hair so please keep this in mind if you would like to sublet the space. I am a costume designer and I complete some projects in the space but I will be removing my equipment for the duration of your stay. I really love my apartment and want someone who will love and respect my place just as much as I do.

I’m a very clean individual and like to keep things tidy however I do leave dishes in the sink over night sometimes and have left my underwear on the bathroom floor on occasion. I’m looking for a renter who has similar values. It’s New York. Keep your place free of vermin by cleaning at least once a week.
