Apartments for Sublet
Hi there!
I’m looking to sublet my one-bedroom apartment located on 110th St between Broadway & Amsterdam from December 8 until January 16. It’s in a great spot, close to the 1 subway, Columbia University, parks, H-Mart, and more. The apartment is on the third floor and features large windows and hardwood floors, plus 24/7 doormen and an elevator in the building. Washer/Dryer in the basement. The apartment has your typical NYC heater that can only be turned on or off, so it does get toasty.
I’ll be storing most of my belongings in one of the three closets, cleaning out the other two and my dressers for your items. Just a heads up, though, there will not be a lot of space for you to bring excessive amounts of stuff (f.ex. your own furniture). You'll need to bring your own bedding and towels. All utilities are included in the rent.

I'm a faculty member at Columbia University, leaving the city during winter break. This is my own personal apartment, so I would appreciate you treating my things with care. The building is great to live in, and everyone is friendly. My super is employed by Columbia and you'll be able to contact him in case anything comes up.

The rent is $2737 per month, plus $50 for internet. Sorry, no pets are allowed. We will sign a sublease agreement, and I will need proof of income from you. You’ll also need to do a deep clean when you move out. There’s a $700 security deposit, which I’ll use to replace damaged items or to pay someone to clean if the place isn’t tidy when I return.
What’s important to me is that the apartment stays clean (no shoes indoors, please, and no smoking or vaping). Also, I’d appreciate it if you could water my plants once a week and empty my mail.
