My home in Brooklyn, New York is a cozy and chic pied-e-terre. It is close to Manhattan but feels tucked away in nature and calm. It is located in Prospect Heights — down to earth sophistication. It is cozy, charming and peaceful with tree line views. I call it the tree house. The interior design is Japanese zen and California minimalism. It’s a wellness retreat after a long day in the city and surprisingly quiet in a city that never sleeps.

It blends Brooklyn charm, comfort and convenience. There is a citi bike station in front and clean nearby metro stations so getting around New York is effortless. Prospect Park is also a few blocks away. The cross street is Vanderbilt St. Nearest trains are 2/3/B/Q/C/G. Walking distance to Fort Greene, Clinton Hill…

The place itself has been completely renovated. It has a new bathtub, Japanese Toto toilet, dishwasher and refrigerator. The flat keeps cool in the Summer as it’s a corner unit with windows all around. I have a fan but note I do not have A/C.

The neighborhood is very walkable, quaint and family friendly with posh restaurants and boutique stores on Vanderbilt.
