About this Service

I offer creative personal brand photography for artists, content creators, musicians, and purpose-driven entrepreneurs who want images that feel magnetic, artful, and alive—not just "professional."

If your current photos don't reflect who you are anymore or you've never had real ones taken, this is for you.

Sessions are intentional, collaborative, and low-pressure. We'll work together to create images that capture your essence, tell your story, and give you something you're genuinely excited to share on your website, social media, and other marketing materials.

This is for you if you're ready to stop hiding behind outdated visuals and show up as the fullest version of yourself.

I mostly service the NYC metro area but I'm open to travel! I've done shoots in Philly and upstate NY/Hudson Valley.

About this Lister

Hi I’m Efe! I’m a filmmaker and photographer. What has always drawn me to these mediums is people. I'm endlessly fascinated by humans—what we carry, how we move, how we show up. That curiosity is at the center of every shoot I do.

I’ve also worked as a meditation and Reiki practitioner and community facilitator, so creating a space where people feel at ease, seen, and supported isn't just something I try to do, it's something I've spent years practicing. A lot of my clients come in nervous and leave surprised by how good it felt and how much fun they had!

Background and Expertise

Nigerian-born, NYC-bred. MFA in Writing and Directing for Film and Television from NYU Tisch. My film directing work has screened at MoMA, Cucalorus Film Festival, and Bushwick Film Festival, and a PSA I directed won Silver at the 2024 Anthem Awards (the social good offshoot of the Webby’s). I've also worked in content development at Condé Nast and co-produced an indie feature film.

I've been taking photographs for 15+ years. My approach to portraiture is shaped by my work as a filmmaker. I think about light, composition, story, and emotion the way a director does, which tends to produce images that feel cinematic and alive rather than posed.
