Our Assistants:
Photo Assistants are an integral part of our day-to-day operations. You'll work side by side with our amazing team of photographers, helping to ensure successful Picture Days. You'll be working early AM hours, starting in the office, then going on location. You'll help deliver gear, load-in, set-up, check-in students, break down, and pack equipment. You'll drive company vehicles to and from shoots, pick up supplies, and run errands when needed. In addition to the above, you'll be learning all aspects of professional photography- from the technical know-how to the soft skills of working with people of all ages.
Hiring Timeline:
We are interviewing now. Hiring date is approximately August 18th.
You must:
- Have a valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
- Have an outgoing personality and be a great communicator.
- Be fabulous around kids (and adults!).
- Be able to lift 40 lbs.
- Be punctual and commit to early call times (5-6 am).
- Be dedicated, dependable, and patient.
- Be able to attend a full week of a paid training session in late August.
- Be available to work a minimum of 3 days a week from September to mid-November. Additional work opportunities for those candidates who show skill and dedication.
- Be able to work in a fast-paced and sometimes hectic environment.
- Experience with studio lighting and pro camera systems is a plus!
- Be fully vaccinated against COVID-19.
