Furnished primary suite with a full private bathroom The bedroom measures 16 x 12. Large curtain wall windows form the exterior wall stretching over 11 feet. The apartment was painted and luxury window treatments were installed in the primary bedroom. The furnishings include a gently used queen-sized bed, a large Ikea wardrobe with both a long hanging section, a short hanging section, a shelf, two sliding two shoe compartments, and three clothing drawers. The primary suite forms one section of a 1,075 square foot 2-bedroom/2-bathroom condo, with a winged-bedroom layout, perfect for sharing.

The second bedroom and main bathroom is occupied by another roommate (professional female) 3 nights a week, on average, for commuting to in-person work. The bedrooms are on opposite sides of the apartment, and do not share a wall. Fully equipped “open style”/galley kitchen presents with a newish (2022-2023) stainless steel refrigerator, dishwasher, microwave and stove range. The condo is on the 4th floor of a 12-story building. We have efficient elevators and staircase access right onto the street. Kitchen privileges include use of all kitchenware/glassware/cookware, dishware and cutlery.

Separate dining area is also available for your use, as eating in the bedroom should be avoided. Washer/dryer room is located right on the floor, not in a basement. All financially qualified individuals are welcome to apply. Most suitable for a minimalist (just bring your suitcases) needing a turnkey, short-term one bedroom/one bath type of shared living space. Utilities are all included: Internet/wi-fi, heat, hot water and electricity.

Roommate should kindly follow all condo rules and keep noise to a minimum before 8 am and after 10 pm. We recycle and compost in the building. I am an original unit owner since 2008 and like to keep a respectful and friendly atmosphere among my neighbors. It is a great, diverse community of singles/families/retirees and couples. Owner/landlord is seeking someone who will respect their home, and belongings, as if they were their own. Perfect for someone new to NYC-Manhattan looking for incredible value in a great turnkey space in a full-service condo building.

This is a Gold LEED Certified green condominium. No smoking of any kind permitted. No open flames / candle burning. The building also features a 24/7 Concierge/Front Desk, package room, 2 sound-proof music practice rooms, a modern gym, overlooking professionally landscaped courtyard, a library/quiet study room, and 2 roof decks. The lobby showcases a large and tastefully designed common space with a “green wall”. Local parks include Morningside & Marcus Garvey, as well as Central Park's stunning new Davis Center. Walking distance to the north end of Museum Mile with cultural treats like El Museo Del Barrio, and The Museum of the City of New York. World famous museums such as the Guggenheim and The Met are a short bus ride down 5th Avenue. Public transportation is easily accessible with the # 2/3 (Red Line) express subway just a half block away, on West 116th Street and Lenox Avenue. East side Lexington Avenue # 6 subway (Green Line) is located within a 7-10 minute walk. The Metro-North train station is also located nearby on 125th St. & Park Avenue. Times Square, Penn Station, Union Square, and Wall Street subway stations are all about 15-25 minute express subway ride. Local restaurant options include Southern Soul, Italian, Indian, Brick-Oven Pizza, French wine bar, sports bars/American, Mexican, and multiple cozy cafes. Whole Foods, Trader Joe's, Staples, Marshall's, T.J. Maxx, MAC Cosmetics, Sephora, and the newly renovated Studio Museum of Harlem, are all a short walk away on 125th St. A well-stocked grocery/supermarket with organic offerings, and a CVS are both steps away right on the corner.

About This Lister

I am the property owner. By providing housing opportunities over the past 10 years, I assist people in the pursuit of their career, life and educational goals, by providing housing opportunities. I am an active, mature, professional woman, and a 3rd-generation Harlemite/native New Yorker. I have a professional Corporate business background in Sales & Marketing. At a young age, I enjoyed an exciting global business career in International Trade and Travel. I've lived and worked in East Asia for many years, and have traveled extensively in Europe. Now, semi-retired, I have taken an extended stay out of state to a warmer climate for 2026. The "roommate/tenant" will rent my primary bedroom suite during my absence. There is no place like NYC especially for culture and performing arts lovers. I take joy in introducing my hometown to both global and domestic transplants. My past successes on the Listings Project inspired me to try, once again, to find a high-quality, respectful, quiet, neat & clean, good fit tenant/space mate.
