Large, stand-alone private artist's studio is available for short or longer periods.

Located in extremely quiet wooded area adjacent to owner's house, the building is a purpose-built artist's studio with private entrance and a loft. It has calibrated lighting, skylights, northern exposures, and room to work in 2D or 3D.

Studio measures 20 feet by 24 feet, plus bathroom.

The license to use the space would exclude parties and regular overnight guests, but could grant access to nearby pool and outdoor shower in summer if desired.

There is a bathroom with a work sink and a toilet. There is no shower and no cooking facilities. There is heat, basic ventilation, and air conditioning, which are included in the price.

Expectations of a user would be non-destructive uses — for instance, no permanent marks on floors, etc. — and no loud overnight work and no hazardous work (for instance, welding).

There are various levels of stairs to access the building that are uneven and would be difficult for people with some kinds of mobility issues, including chair or mobility device users.

The studio is reachable by ~47-minute express train to Manhattan from Grand Central, and the local train station is about a 5-minute drive or a steep 15-minute bike ride from the studio.

We're arts supporters who live on the site in Westchester and travel frequently between here and New York City. We use the space ourselves but realized the studio might be better suited for artists (or writers, and other kinds of artists) with projects to execute on deadline, for instance.
