We're looking for someone who wants to come join our household in Bedstuy. The lease starts on October 16th, 2024 and ends on October 15th, 2025.

About your room:
The room you'll be renting is powder yellow and has one large window providing natural light. It has a closet with built-in storage. You'll be sharing a bathroom with Sam (see the bios farther down in the listing). The room does not come furnished.

About the house:
The owners did a complete renovation of this house in 2018. Everything is of excellent quality from the windows to the top-of-the-line appliances throughout. We have an outdoor gas firepit, Thermador kitchen appliances, Electrolux washer and dryer, 3 Nest thermostats for the 4 floors of the house that control the forced air heating and cooling, and the ground floor has radiant floor heat.

The house has a bunch of shared spaces. The third floor has a great washer and dryer. The second floor has a living room and space for a home office. And the ground floor has a wonderful kitchen and dining room.

We're a group of designers, programmers, artists, and private equity folks and generally have West Coast energy. Although Eloise is from London and brings a British sensibility.

The way I'd describe the culture in our house is that unless something is labeled all the food in the fridge is fair game.

About This Lister

Joe (32) studied Economics and Computer Science at Claremont McKenna College. He joined MileIQ as a software engineer and stayed at Microsoft for two years after the acquisition. He took a year off to surf in Panama and now writes, paints, and programs.

Chad (32) also studied Economics and Computer Science at Claremont McKenna College. He worked at Zynga as a software engineer and then joined Joe at Microsoft where he worked for three years. He bikes and does yoga and works as a software engineer.

Eloise (30) works in private equity and is from London. She usually goes into the office during the week. And on the weekend, she enjoys kickboxing and trying new restaurants with her friends.

Sam (30) manages restaurant construction and is from Albany. He works from the office during the week and enjoys working out and watching movies with his friends.
