About This Lister

I (she/her) am a Costume Designer for film/TV and my partner is a DP/Camera Operator; we have a 2 year old son. We absolutely adore this space but in light of personal & industry changes, we have chosen to spend the majority of our time in Kansas City near family, where we work in real estate. We are maintaining our Brooklyn home as a furnished rental so we can still occasionally enjoy it and take local film/tv jobs. While we're away, we hope you will enjoy our home as much as we do! We’ve always taken great pride in keeping the home immaculate and well-maintained.

We manage the rental/space, with the help of our good friends who live downstairs. I can send a video of the space, more photos, floorplan, or our friends can show the space, in certain circumstances.

Rental requirements

Please be willing to keep our indoor and outdoor plants alive by watering :)

1st month rent + Security deposit equal to 1 month rent required upfront. Utilities (gas and electric) billed separately but are reasonable as the HVAC is central air/heat. $200 cleaning fee charged at move-out.

2 references from previous landlords, government-issued ID, proof of income.

No pets. Absolutely no smoking of anything inside. Seeking quiet, respectful tenants. Please be conscientious of our neighbors when playing music, etc.

We'll prepare a sublet agreement / contract to sign before move-in.

We are ideally looking to rent to someone for a minimum of 3 months and maximum of 6 months (but open to longer). Could even bring down the cost if we are able to return for some time during the stay. Looking forward to speaking with you further!
