The entire floor of a 2nd story walk-up (nearly 900 sq ft.) located in one of the charming original neighborhood buildings, newly renovated with all the modern fixings (A/C, dishwasher, modern lock system and door buzzer, etc.) and replete with hardwood floors.

THE NEIGHBORHOOD

I have lived all over Manhattan and Brooklyn in the last 13 years, and this neighborhood is my absolute favorite; a kaleidoscope of original locals and cool kids.

THE OASIS

I split my work week between the office and the living room. My ideal roomie can share the space and alternate from working in the dining area and his/her/their room. I'm grateful for quiet in the AM and on school nights! I work hard and travel often - home is truly an oasis.

However, I'm less of a curmudgeon on the weekend! The apartment is ideal for hosting small dinner parties. I'm tidy, and we can have a cleaner come once a month. No terrace, so no cigarette smokers, sorry.

I'm looking for a subletter short or long term - minimum 1 month, ideally 2-3 months or longer.
