At Duet, we believe the personal connection between an older adult and the person supporting them is essential. Thus, we take a categorically different approach to recruitment in the home care industry. We attract respectful and curious individuals from various fields who are passionate about supporting others. Some of them have worked as home care aides or nursing assistants, while others are artists, performers, graduate-level students, or semi-retired or “encore” career professionals who simply want to make a difference in someone’s life.

Being a recruiter at Duet is a massively important role. Everything we accomplish stems from hiring the right people. And if you enjoy discovering new people and seeing them thrive, this will be a rewarding experience for you.

You’ll be expected to develop good relationships with job candidates, as we need to develop trust and understanding before staffing them with our clients. Being both efficient and creative in sourcing new candidates is also very important. You may find candidates through common online resources, as well as through various niche communities that contain otherwise overlooked candidates.

Responsibilities:

You’ll be expected to identify excellent caregiver candidates across various channels, developing relationships as you evaluate their candidacy. You’ll also welcome them into our organization through the onboarding and orientation process.

- Source candidates from various channels, both online and offline
- Conduct interviews and evaluations
- Develop a close working relation with our staffing and client services teams in order to hire the right people
- Assist with new employee orientation
- Help to create and maintain personnel records

Preferences and Requirements:

- Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree
- General experience in home care or a related field is a plus
- Strong interpersonal abilities
- Ability to work efficiently with computerized systems and tasks
