Hi, I'm Aly! My roommates and I are looking for a someone to join our sweet+extremely well located QTPOC household starting April 1.

This is a spacious 5-bed room apartment located smack in the middle of PLG and Crown Heights. The apartment is ✨blessed✨ with 3.5 bathrooms, laundry in unit, dishwasher, elevator, and the best damn bodega in Brooklyn on the corner. Plus, unlike new construction buildings, this old brick baddie has wonderful thick walls that keep noises levels low in the apartment and your private life private.

The location really can't be beat: Prospect Park, Farmer's Market, the Botanic Garden, Central Library and Brooklyn Museum are all within a 5-15 minute walk, ditto some of the best subway lines in the city (Q,B,S,2,3,4,5) and the B48 and B43. Plus, there's a Citibike station right on the corner.

The room is spacious, comfortably fits a queen sized bed and dresser with decent sized closet. Would share a bathroom with 1 person.

You'd be joining 4 cuties who are already in the apartment (in addition to me, there's K, a housing lawyer, C, restaurant worker/nanny/zine queen, I, a social worker).

We're a fully QTPOC household looking for the same. We share responsibility for cleaning common areas and try to keep things tidy without being overly punitive about it.

We often have the TV or music going and like to host friends, so this is probably not the space for you if you need absolute silence. Having said that, we're always respectful if one of us needs to be on meetings, take an interview, or just get some quiet time. We often like to hang and go out together, so we'd love to find a roommate who vibes with us and get along. We also very much do our own things so this isn't a codependent roomie sitch.

Must love (or at lease like) dogs! We currently live with my small friendly dog named Finn, pictured here. He's a pretty chill cutie and loves to snuggle if that's something you're into. We're open to other pets depending on compatibility!
